Enrolling at Currumbin State School is an important and exciting process. There are three simple steps to follow:

Step 1

Check the catchment area

Currumbin State School has an enrolment management plan that guarantees enrolment to students within our designated catchment area. Families applying to enrol can check their residential address at Queensland Schools catchment maps.

Where there is sufficient capacity, students from outside of the catchment area can be considered for enrolment. Enrolment is guaranteed to siblings of our current students.

Step 2

Make an enrolment appointment

Please contact the office to make an enrolment appointment.

Step 3

Bring the following to your enrolment appointment

  • Your child (if possible).
  • Your child’s original birth certificate or passport.
  • Proof of residential address - one primary source:
    • a current lease agreement
    • rates notice
    • unconditional sale agreement
  • and one secondary source:
    • utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas)
  • Completed enrolment form. Either download the student-enrolment-form.pdf or call into the office at least 20 minutes prior to your enrolment appointment to collect an enrolment package.
  • Passport/visa details (if place of birth not Australia).
  • Any relevant reports e.g. any special needs, medical information, previous learning intervention/extension, anything else you believe will be important for the school to know.

If you cannot download the document/s linked from this page, please contact us and we will provide a copy via the school office.
